CG | Motocorp, the sole authorized distributors of Suzuki cars in the country, has introduced the six-seater XL6 premium MPV in the country. The MPV, which is based on the Ertiga, is available in two trims – Zeta and Alpha – and features two individual captain chairs for the middle row. It is priced at Rs 46,99,000 for the Zeta trim and Rs 47,99,000 for the Alpha trim.[gallery size="full" ids="11097,11098"]Speaking about the XL6 to customers, Mr. Karan Chaudhary, Executive Director, CG|Motocorp, said “Thefamily value and culture remain as the core of Nepalese life, living to this value we have introduced XL6 a premium MPV that redefines the way family travel together. The XL6 strikes a perfect balance of style, space, comfort, performance, and safety. We are confident that our exclusive 6-seater, the XL6 will strike a chord with today’s customer who seeks comfort and style"The XL6 gets a raised hood and a larger grille with chrome styling sweeping into the new LED headlamps. At the side, the XL6 gets alloy wheels, roof rails, and plastic side-body claddings. Similarly, at the rear, there’s a reworked bumper with cladding and a faux skid-plate.[gallery size="full" ids="11093,11092,11091,11094"]
The interior gets an all-black theme with premium stone finish and rich silver accents sweeping across the cabin. With an Ergonomic layout, it comes with comfortable seats bolstered with premium leather upholstery. The 3-row seating, with captain seats in 2nd row and reclining 3rd-row seats have ease of ingress and egress, thanks to one-touch recline and a slide mechanism on the 2nd-row seats. Availability of ample utility spaces, such as ventilated cup holders, overhead console, accessory sockets in each row along with a rear AC, and a cruise control system further steps up the overall comfort & convenience level.
In terms of equipment, both XL6 variants get Maruti’s new SmartPlay Studio infotainment unit, which comprises a 7.0-inch touchscreen display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility. The top-spec Alpha additionally gets automatic headlamps and a rear parking camera.
Based on Suzuki’s 5th Generation Heartect platform, the all-new XL6 is compliant with all Indian safety regulations like Frontal offset impact, side-impact, and pedestrian protection. It is equipped with a host of safety features such as dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, front seat belts with Pre-tensioners and Force Limiters, ISOFIX child seat anchorages, high-speed warning alert, reverse parking sensors as a standard fitment across all variants. ESP (electronic stability program) with Hill Hold function is offered as a standard feature in automatic variants only.
The XL6 is powered by BS6 compliant K15 petrol engine with Suzuki's Smart Hybrid technology with Li-ion battery. The K15 engine offers peak power of 103 Bhp @6000rpm and maximum torque of 138Nm@4400rpm and will be available in a 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic transmission options.The XL6 is available in six colour options - Nexa Blue, Brave Khaki, Auburn Red, Magma Grey, Premium Silver, and Arctic White.
