LAUNCHED: Suzuki's New Premium MPV, the XL6

CG | Motocorp, the sole authorized distributors of Suzuki cars in the country, has introduced the six-seater XL6 premium MPV in the country. The MPV, which is based on the Ertiga, is available in two trims – Zeta and Alpha – and features two individual captain chairs for the middle row. Similarly, at the rear, there’s a reworked bumper with cladding and a faux skid-plate.[gallery size="full" ids="11093,11092,11091,11094"]Based on Suzuki’s 5th Generation Heartect platform, the all-new XL6 is compliant with all Indian safety regulations like Frontal offset impact, side-impact, and pedestrian protection. It is equipped with a host of safety features such as dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, front seat belts with Pre-tensioners and Force Limiters, ISOFIX child seat anchorages, high-speed warning alert, reverse parking sensors as a standard fitment across all variants. ESP (electronic stability program) with Hill Hold function is offered as a standard feature in automatic variants only.The XL6 is powered by BS6 compliant K15 petrol engine with Suzuki's Smart Hybrid technology with Li-ion battery. The K15 engine offers peak power of 103 Bhp @6000rpm and maximum torque of 138Nm@4400rpm and will be available in a 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic transmission options.The XL6 is available in six colour options - Nexa Blue, Brave Khaki, Auburn Red, Magma Grey, Premium Silver, and Arctic White.
